Glimpsing over today's creative predisposition

Almost everything it's protected by copyright laws, from simple advertisement to more complex examples. However, this practice is raising eyebrows in some segments of the North American culture because it's supposed to limit inventiveness.

On the other side, some believe that copyright laws encourage artistic production, because it makes the person go further and come up with fresh ideas.

But aren't we experimenting a particular time when nothing seems really new, like a big "retro flu", when even collages of already known cultural patterns end up being vain experiments with no surprise at all?

Besides, artists appear to be as frightened of money losses as of the surged of a new bevy of young talents inspired by them, as if they were trying to monopolize gains as well as the "right to create".

Could we say regulations have in fact little to do with the creative process? …perhaps not money either, maybe nor even the place you are in, perhaps it's something beyond all that.

It's in the family

What will the children without parents be like?

This article totally amazed me, and I thought it'd be a great idea to share it with you.

The text deals mainly with clonation but in fatc it dives in several other issues, such as identity and its overvalued influence over human personality, the obsession for family bonds, and personal history as something decisive, among many others.

And what's even more interesting, it suggests there's a relation between an unhappy existence without a history and the futility of a possible longevity.

Interview to Robbie Williams

A very cynical and sometimes honest view of Robbie Williams' life by Robbie Williams, that is what this article has to offer…

It shows a man who doesn't seem to know what he wants, struggling with the fears produced by the illusory concept of fame, and whose happiness is based on being accepted.

A non details policy

"Democracies don't prepare well for things that have never happened before." *

The following two cases could be the perfect proof that the sentence of the title really works.

It seems in fact that democracy isn’t prepared to deal with abnormal circumstances, or with individuals (contrary to what it is expected) in situations when the latter ones are the danger themselves.
