Selling yourself
Companies have found a new way to sell their products to you, and it's called "human branding".The system is based on the conversion of human beings into physical and spiritual vehicles for the advertising of a certain product or brand.
A matter of principles
Two-thirds of Britons believe they belong to the working class, according to a recent survey, even though their jobs and incomes suggest they are not. Apparently there has been a renaissance of the feeling of "working class solidarity", and belonging to this class is nowadays considered "chic".

Interior exile

Meditation appears to be an efficient way of dealing with daily troubles and reducing stress. This practice -which is being appreciated with renewed enthusiasm these days-, conceived to reconnect oneself with something grander and silence the mind, is not as innocent as it seems. Take a few examples next: first, there's a rather alarming tendency to consider oneself always a tiny part of something else (such as the cosmos, a universal conscience, etc); there's also a recurrent pledge for "acceptance" (of what you are, of how things are). And finally there's the invitation to avoid the harsh exterior world in a peaceful inner exile.

Enjoy!

"I don´t care about rock at all"

Interview to Vicentico (actor and lead singer in Los Fabulosos Cadillacs). A man who enjoys the simple gratifications of life -such as sea-baths and fresh air-, who prefers an unsophisticated lifestyle that allows him to live free from suffering, and who only wants to "work", but who, surprisingly, is not willing to commit himself entirely to the art and rock myth demand.

At least one challenging sign…
