Identity: not a swearword
The Born Identity
Here're a couple of articles on the identity search, whether on finding it in your personal history, reconnecting to your cultural or family roots, or on your genes or even your own descendents. The following stories make you wonder if perhaps what's commonly referred to as "identity" is a misinterpretation of each individual's personality and potential, an excessively simple and poor description in which a certain feature (profession, cultural background, family roles, etc) overcomes the rest of the person's facets. Asking who we are / you are is useful as long as we can trespass certain conceptual barriers - after all, the cool thing about identity is that it makes us unique and reality richer.

Bored With Drugs, Sex and Rock (Climbing)? Try 'Flow'
Afterwards an article on something as interesting as, ironically, boredom; a quick look at what it means to be bored, how it biologically manifests on us, and what it appears to be a motivating theory which states that the best way to get rid of boredom is finding that thing that's not too easy to bore you, but not too difficult either. Thus, this article let us conceive the idea that building up an uncomplicated life rhythm or style can be as unprofitable to personal growth as it is for fun.

| Here you will find a piece on the incidence of the so-called "negative emotions", such as stress, on the creative process. The commentary tries to avoid the conventional "positive vs. negative emotions" dichotomies, aiming at developing more integrated models that allow for the combination of both aspects. |
