Picture passwords may save a thousand words
Struggling to remember different passwords each day? While these secret keys are crucial for concealing everything from financial transactions to personal information, people can sometimes be careless with them.

Security experts say people often choose words that are too easy for hackers to ascertain. Using birth dates, pet names or personality traits likely won't protect users from a determined hacker. Some people also forget to change the default password when setting up a new system or account.

According to a recent study, employees fail abysmally when it comes to securing confidential information.

But a new type of technology that involves visual combinations could ease the burden and make data more secure in the process.
