“There’s no doubt that work has found its way into every hour of our day, thanks to beepers, cell phones and e-mail”. I’d rather say that work has found its way into every hour of our day, thanks to the way we projected our days, our work, and our lives.

Profession, career, occupation… work, are people’s most used elements to make definitions of themselves as whole persons. What would you expect, if you’ve been a lot of years in the university studying “to be …”? The consequences are there…

And let’s not be so ingenuous to think that unanimated things like beepers, cellphones or emails are able to invade our lives. We simply have to not be afraid of them, and use them with little common sense.
